COACHES CERTIFICATION PROCESS:
Player safety is top priority. Again, for this season, NAFL will identify all Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches with an NAFL issued lanyard. Only personnel wearing the lanyard will be allowed on our practice and playing fields and in direct contact with our players. These lanyards signify that personnel have met the NAFL coaching requirements.
All coaches for each team must meet ALL of the following criteria:

Security/background check - Download Form Here
Received current USA Football Coaching Level 1 certification - www.usafootball.com
Complete the CDC Heads Up Online Training Course - CDC Heads Up Online Training
Sign the Coach’s Oath of Commitment and SafeKids Program form - Download Agreement
Complete the Mandated Reporters: Critical Links in Protecting Children in Georgia online training -Click Here
Complete education on safety, heat and hydration, concussion awareness and proper tackling technique
Head Coaches and named Assistants are required to submit background checks prior to evaluations. All other coaches will be required to complete this process by the Jamboree. All documents will be collected by the respective District Director. You will only be allowed to certify five coaches total. In addition, Team Dads must complete the background check.
If you are interested in coaching or volunteering, please indicate such when registering your child. We are run by 100% volunteers and our league would not be possible without your help!
